Day 1 : Arrival in Hanoi -Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the center. Free at leisure. (No guide today) Day 2 : Hanoi - City tour in Hanoi, visiting Ho Chi Minh's house on stilt, One Pillar Pagoda - one of the few structures remaining from the original foundation of the city, then have a walk to visit Tran Quoc pagoda - the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi. After that transfer to visit Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son temple. Take one hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, of which another name is 36 streets. Take the night train to Lao Cai. ( Meals included: breakfast, lunch ) Day 3: Lao Cai/Sapa - Early morning arrival in Lao Cai. You will be taken from Lao Cai railway station to Sapa. After breakfast visit Ham Rong mountain, viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area. Lunch at a restaurant. Late afternoon free to discover Sapa town. Night at hotel in Sapa. ( Meals included: lunch ) Day 4: Soft trek to Lao Chai/Ta Van villages - Breakfast at hotel. The car will take you from your hotel to Lao Chai village (Black HMong tribe), looking down the valley, viewing magnificent landscapes of high mountains, deep valleys, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies. Have a walk around Lao Chai village, learn more about the daily life here, and then have a 2km trek from Lao Chai to Ta Van village (Dzay tribe). After lunch at the village you will be picked up and taken to Sapa. Late afternoon drive back to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi . ( Meals included: breakfast, lunch ) Day 5 : Hanoi / Halong / Hanoi (group tour) - Arrive in Hanoi at early morning. Pick up and transfer to your hotel to refresh (no room this morning). 8:00AM: Departure from your hotel and drive through the countryside to Halong Bay (170 km). Arrive in Halong at noon. After lunch at a restaurant get on boat . Take four hour cruise on the Bay, seeing thousands of limestone islands and go inside one beautiful cave on the bay (Thien Cung cave). Return to Hanoi, arriving in the evening. ( Meals included: lunch ) Day 6: Departure Free time before the transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
