Vietnam is one of the countries having the most crowded motorcycles in the world. I am a Vietnamese and I also own one. As I know, most of tourists are afraid to cross the street in Vietnam but quite a few tourists are not, maybe because of their curiosity or they want to retain the unique photos. The curious visitors sometimes stand in the middle of street to take photos of Vietnamese traffic despite the danger. This is extremely dangerous to the lives of visitors and even for Vietnamese people who drive vehicle on the street. In spite of Vietnam's transportation system is not good, this place has a lot of natural beauty and unique culture such as Ha Long Bay (it has been recognized two times by UNESCO as world heritage); Phong Nha - Ke Bang ; Hoi An ancient town; My Son sanctuary; beaches in Nha Trang; Ho Chi Minh City; Hanoi ...When you visit Hanoi, you should not miss a chance to explore the Old Quarter-the center of the capital. You can find here many types of vehicles as bicycle, motorbike, cars and cyclo which share narrow streets together. Vietnamese traffic condition has partly badly effected on the tourism. Therefore, we must find a solution to have a nice and safe trip. Some notes I would like to share with you when you come and visit Vietnam - Do not stand in the middle of the street to take photos - There are a lot of turns such as T-junction, intersection having not traffic light and quite a few roads do not have the pedestrian crossing, so just let's do what Vietnamese do, take the plunge into and step slowly across the street to go to the other side - Raise your hand across the body. It means asking the way to cross the street - When you are crossing the street, you feel unable to continue to walk because many vehicles are coming, just stop and freeze, do not make any sudden or unpredictable movements. Do not run in this situation because the driver does not determine your location to avoid you. Wish you to be safe and have a good trip in Vietnam!
